Head and wounds of this
Crucifix gave off a perfume scent, Italy

On 11 November 1986 (the
feast of St Martin) the crucifix in the small oratory of Renatos
house began to give off a perfume which spread through the whole
house. All the windows were opened in an attempt to discover its
origin. It was then found that the perfume was coming from the
head and wounds of the crucifix. The following day, in the same
part, in fact the hands and the feet of the ceramics statuette
of the Madonna also reflected to spread perfume. But it was noticed
at once that the perfume of the statuette was slightly different
from that of the crucifix: it was more delicate.
