Image of Our Lady shows up in photo of icy trees

November 9, 2004 - From the mailbag: I am sending a photo of a picture I took in an ice storm we had in Jan. 1997. This was the first year without my mom. She passed away Aug. 23, 1996. I had a Mass said for her and was unable to attend due to the icy roads. I prayed and thought of her all day. This day was Jan. 12, 1997. It was also my Mom's birthday. My heart was just aching for her. I miss her so very much. I decided to take some pictures of the ice in the trees. Here in Louisiana we don't see this very often.

This picture has the Blessed Mother in it. She has her eyes closed and looking towards Heaven It appears she is praying.
To the right of her is a mist. A heart shape is in the mist and in it is many faces. One of those faces is my Dad, and he
has a smile on his face. Some of the faces are very pitiful and sad. I pray for these poor souls. I have a devotion to The Holy Souls. The picture to me is this: Pray with the heart and in the heart you can save many, many souls. I hope you can see the picture okay. I just thought I would share this with you.
Yours in Christ, Linda Lafleur

P.S. It also looks like rosarys hanging from the tree limbs.
