We're happy to report that our dear friend Father Joseph Whalen, a late-vocation priest from Connecticut who has a healing ministry, has had to bless a whole new batch of anointed oil and expand a publication of healings after a story on him ran in these pages. Father Whalen, of St. James Church in Danielson, has a charism whereby sun miracles and other luminous manifestations seem to surround him! He is pictured [top left photo] at the Shrine of the North American Martyrs in Auriesville, New York, last September 11. Above [top right photo] is the sun as captured recently while he was with friend and assistant Maryann Wichman, who helps with his powerful ministry (based on the Archangel Raphael).
