Pilgrims claim to see image of face in bronze statue weeping at Medjugorje

Reported in [Spirit Daily.com] online newspaper. Recent pilgrims to Medjugorje say that erosion at the knee of a large bronze corpus of the Crucified Christ that has been exuding a mysterious fluid has now formed the image of a face with two eyes. It from these eyes, they assert, that the fluid -- "tears" -- flow. The statue has been exuding for at least two years. The flow of an oily-watery fluid was first noticed in a big way soon after the apparition site's twentieth anniversary in June of 2001. Since then it has been intermittent, with a number of people claiming phenomena associated with it, including rosary miracles, a reddish substance like blood, and healings. Experts have not yet derived a plausible explanation.
