The “Little Manger Shrine,” pictured here at the Giannini home, was where St. Gemma would place her written sealed letters which her Guardian Angel would take and then deliver to the intended person(s) throughout Italy. Father Germanus was an astonished recipient of many of these letters carried by Gemma’s Angel. He writes, “I always receive the angelic letters faithfully. The fact is unusual … I confess I do not understand it at all.”
